Arkemia “Kim” Cobbs is a dedicated human services professional with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Psychology from Colorado State University in 2016 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as part of her commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
Throughout her career, Arkemia has developed a passion for serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, particularly those with co-occurring mental health diagnoses. She is committed to promoting dignity, independence, and meaningful quality of life through person-centered, trauma-informed, and positive behavior support practices.
Known for her warm personality, sense of humor, and genuine ability to connect with others, Arkemia believes that strong relationships are the foundation of effective support. She enjoys getting to know the people she serves, building trust through compassion, respect, and a little laughter along the way.
Outside of her professional work, Arkemia enjoys spending time with her family, singing karaoke, listening to music, and expressing her creativity through crafting, painting, and exploring art in all its forms. She believes that learning never stops and strives to make a positive impact in every life she touches through advocacy, education, and compassionate care.
